A dream was conceived in 2011 in the bustling Cameroonian city of Douala. What began as a small cleaning service called “Njicha Clean ” has evolved into a well-known firm now operating successfully in Sweden. This is the story of how Njicha Clean grew from a local initiative to a global phenomenon. The creators of Njicha Clean grew up with a passion for business and later relocated to Douala, where he was surrounded by colourful markets and bustling streets. Hubert Nkongchu Njicha, with his strong eye for detail, and with Diploma training in home/office cleaning and small business management skills, shared a goal of launching a service that would improve the living and working circumstances in their community via cleanliness.

Hubert spent months organising this venture. He conducted market research to better understand the demands of his potential customers and developed a comprehensive business plan. He also sought assistance from local business owners and attended courses on running a small firm. With his savings and a little loan from a local microfinance institution, Njicha Clean was ready to launch. Starting Njicha Clean was not an easy task. He encountered various hurdles, including limited resources, fierce rivalry, and scepticism from potential clients. However, his dedication to providing outstanding service allowed him to gradually establish a brand. He hired a small crew, rigorously trained them, and prioritised using environmentally friendly products, which immediately became a selling feature.

By 2015, Njicha Clean has established itself as a reputable company in Douala. His customer base has developed, allowing him to broaden his offerings to commercial clients, such as offices and retail locations. He also invested in improved equipment and provided regular training for our staff, led by the management team, to ensure high service standards. Hubert made the decision to move to Sweden in 2020 to pursue his master’s degree. After finishing his degree, he decided to grow Njicha Clean abroad due to the huge demand for cleaning services and market opportunity in Sweden. The transition was difficult, but he was determined to make his goal a reality in a new country. Starting anew in Sweden meant adjusting to a new market and culture. Hubert spent the first year studying about local rules, networking with possible clients and contractors, and assessing the competitive landscape. He emphasised his dedication to environmentally friendly cleaning methods.

Today, Njicha Clean in Sweden is a successful sole proprietorship firm. He provide a wide range of services, from household cleaning to commercial contracts, and have built a solid reputation for dependability and quality.
